Due to the expansion of our Installations and Servicing department, we are currently recruiting to fill the following positions:
* Experienced Installations Technician
The job will involve working either on your own or together with members of our current installations team, undertaking new projects installing lighting and effects rigs in venues across London.
Proven previous experience working in the lighting industry in an installation role is essential, and a good working knowledge of entertainment lighting, including moving head fixtures and effects is desirable. A good knowledge of the ShowCAD and Avolites Pearl control desks is an advantage.
Most of the work will be on site, and for this reason a full, clean UK driving license is required (transport will be provided). Duties will include:
- Installation of lighting and effects rigs
- Programming lighting control desks
- Preparation of quotes for clients
- Completion of job sheets and final invoicing to clients for call-outs
- On-call work providing emergency assistance to clients in the case of technical failure
- Maintenance and servicing duties
* Basic Lighting Maintenance Engineer Required
A successful lighting company based in Central London is looking to expand it's team and requires a maintenance engineer to assist in regular scheduled servicing of lighting installations in Central London nightclubs and bars.
Experience of servicing lighting equipment, including Martin moving heads and Jem smoke machines is an advantage, but basic experience within the lighting industry is sufficient as full training will be provided.
The position will involve travelling around Central London to various sites to complete maintenance work, either alone or as part of a small team. For this reason a full UK clean driving license will be required (transport to be provided).
