When Southwark council were looking for a landmark installation in Clink Street, they were recommended to take a look at the Light Box installation at Fire nightclub in Vauxhall. They instantly recognised the potential to adapt this ground-breaking design and asked Halo to get involved.
After months of consultation and dogged determination from Southwark environmental staff, a Victorian railway bridge in conservation area of SE1 London received the green light to receive a high-tech 9m x 16m LED mesh screen with awe-inspiring potential.
An expected tourist attraction on the well-worn Southbank trail, this promises to be a star performer with London's visitors.
